Buongiorno! We're so happy to have you here in our beautiful town. Positano is a vertical town full of charm and many stepped paths to town.
Elevator
There is a new paid elevator that can bring you and luggage from main Amalfi Drive road to close to the property. Prices vary but expect 2euro.

ARRIVING &Directions
ARRIVING BY TAXI
Take a taxi from Naples International Airport (€150-180). We recommend Napoli Transfer or the local Gennaro Transfer Service —mention "Villa Rispoli" for a discount.
Ask to be dropped at Parcheggio Liparlati close to Eden Roc Hotel, it’s a parking and a bus stop hub.
Take the public elevator (open 8:00-20:00 hours, 2euro per person fee) at Parcheggio Liparlati to the top, exit right, and continue past Villa Olivieri until you see steps down with a "Casa Rispoli" sign on the right. Walk down two floors until you see a large wooden door with our bell and lockbox.
ARRIVING BY RENTAL CAR
We love Europcar car rental from Napoli or Sorrento. You can then park at Parcheggio Liparlati close to Eden Roc Hotel, and walk into town center or ride up to the property via their elevator.
ARRIVING BY FERRY
On arrival at the port, use a luggage porter (blue shirts) and direct them to Villa Rispoli.
Walk 5 mins to Piazza Mulini, then take a 3-minute INTERNO bus (2 euro) to Parcheggio Liparlati/Eden Roc Hotel. You could also walk from the port to Eden Roc Hotel in 10-15 min along the road.
Then follow Arriving by Taxi directions.
HEAVY LUGGAGE
We suggest travel light if possible. If arriving with large bags from the ferry, you can request a luggage porter and mention Villa Rispoli.
ARRIVING BY FERRY DETAILED DIRECTIONS It’s three stages to get to the property. At the ferry port there are luggage porters with blue shirts. We recommend using them for large bags (Euro 20) tell them to drop bags at Villa Rispoli Positano, Liparlati.
1-Walk thru town to the central bus stop at Piazza Mulini (5min)
2- Interno Bus to Eden Roc Hotel on the Amalfi Drive road (3min)
3-Public Elevator to Via Stefan Andres and short walk to property (2min)
1.WALK TO CENTRAL BUS STOP (5 min) From the port head to the main church by keeping left until you get to a red building and arch where you should turn right and up steps. At the church front take the steps left straight up past the art stalls and boutiques. Keep following this path past the lemon goods shop and you’ll see a pergola. This is Piazza Mulini and central bus stop. Buy a bus ticket at the Tabacchi.
2.BUS OR WALK TO EDEN ROC HOTEL (3 min) Take the INTERNO bus only. Ask the driver to drop you off if you’re unsure. Walk a couple of steps up the hill to the public elevator at Parcheggio Liparlati.
3.PARCHEGGIO LIPARLATI ASCENSORE ELEVATOR TO PROPERTY (2 min) On the Amalfi Drive coastal road is a locals-only carpark with public elevator (ascensore, 2 euro pp). Take this up to the top and turn right onto Via Stefan Andres. You’ll pass Villa Oliviero, take the next steps down. You’ll see Casa Rispoli sign. Continue down and curve right until you see a large wooden door with lockbox.

IF YOU WANT TO WALK THE FULL STEPPED PATH FROM ROAD TO PROPERTY (12 min): Start at Via Liparlati (this is different to Parcheggio Liparlati). Follow the signs for our neighbour ‘Villa Oliviero’or ‘Il Cimitero’ most of the way. You’ll pass a couple of terracotta colored palazzos on your right. Where the path flattens and splits there’s a yellow villa, stay right taking the few steps down and pass the public elevator doors.
You’ll pass Villa Oliviero’s white walls on the right and a long red wall on your left, continue and take the next right, down steps, you’ll see a sign for CASA RISPOLI. Continue down and right. There are illuminated light switches on your right, if you’re arriving at night.
You’ve arrived when you see a wooden door, old bell. The lockbox is on the wooden door.

Passport ID
Please send scans of you passport photo ID to your host. This is a requirement of Positano government to ensure everyone’s safety.

PROPERTY Guide
Please leave the property as you find it.
Hot water is on a boiler system. Ensure the bathroom switch in the “ I “ not “O” position and wait 10 minutes.
Kitchen should be disinfected after each use and trash lids closed to avoid bugs.
Trash bins are under the kitchen sink. You can bag and hang mixed waste at the steps above the house by the ‘Casa Rispoli’ sign in the late evening. Trash is collected from here in the early morning.
Air conditioning only to be used if you are in the property. Set temperature (usually 21c), then select the mode button for cool, heat or fan and please turn off whenever you leave the property.
Washing machine (wash only, no dryer) We suggest 15/30/45 for a quick wash. Detergent goes in the left slot of the drawer. Drying pegs on the clothes line in the south terrace.
Windy weather Please close all sun umbrellas, secure shutters and move all throw cushions indoors before you leave for the day as weather can be changeable.
Plants They would love some water if its really hot, ideally in the morning or evening.
Faucet water is drinkable.
Bluetooth speakers are Alexa smart speakers in the blue kitchen and on the large terrace. To pair your device say ‘Alexa pair device’ and select speaker on your bluetooth. Other instructions eg ‘Alexa…’ ‘Play chill music’, ‘todays news’, ‘What’s the weather’, ‘set volume to 30 percent’.
Coffee supplies can be purchased at the store on the road. We provide a french press, moka pot and SMEG espresso machine which takes paper ESE tablets Instruction here
Noise Please keet to a minimum as this is residential area. Music cut off is midnight.
Power outages sometimes occur but if this happens check the grey fuse box outside the house (left as you exit the front door). Switch should be in up (on) position. If it is ON then the issue may be a short term, town-wide power outage. In which case wait a couple of hours until issue is resolved.
Grocery deliveries can be ordered from the local store. This store has kitchen supplies, wine and food and delivers to the property. Send a WhatsApp to get deliveries the next morning delivered to Casa Rispoli, 8 Via Stefan Andres, Positano, SA 84017. INDOOR
Lights & electrical sockets are EU standard. Some of these are slow dimmable - tap and hold function. Switches with ‘I O’ are for appliances like boiler, washing machine, fridge and should always be in the ‘I’ position. Sockets should be optimized for all varieties of EU appliances and have USB and USB-C for cell phones.
Storage closets are in the hallway with extra hanger space and spare blankets, towels and pillows.
Gas is stored in canisters. If at any point it runs out during your stay please contact us.
Honour-bar in the kitchen has some alcohol, please replace with a like spirit if you use.
OUTDOOR
Outdoor furniture such as deck chairs, loungers and umbrellas should be moved indoors after use incase of storms. It can get very wet and windy.
Friendly nieghbor dog is called Primo and Alla belong to our aunt downstairs. They may pop up to see who you are. They’re beloved by guests and incredibly friendly, feel free to pet over the gate.
CHECK OUT 10am
CLOSING THE HOUSE
Check-out is at 10am. You can leave sheets and towels on the floor.
Turn off any lights and air conditioners.
Check your valuables and chargers we love collecting them but you might miss them.
Close windows and doors.
Leave key in the lock box and close it.

Airport fast track
Airport has great cafes and shopping but if you’re in a hurry and the security line looks busy there is a fast track option for Euro 8, tickets available at a kiosk just before security by wheelchair ramp.
TIPS
Tips are absolutely not necessary but some guests ask to leave for the maintenance team and house keepers. If you desire you can leave a digital tip here.
